The author traces the roots of this liberating Rock du Bagne. Independent journalist Stéphane Deschamps is the author of the book Blues Power, a parallel history of the blues. With a passion for the rock of the fifties and its roots, he wrote a lot about Elvis, and notably wrote and coordinated in 2007 a number of special Elvis Inrockuptibles, for the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his death. The book includes a DVD with the movie Jailhouse Rock. |
