Pamela Clarke Keogh
Pamela Keogh has just published her third book
Elvis Presley: The Man, The Life, The Legend,
an 85,000 word biography of Elvis Presley, written with the rare assistance of Elvis Presley
Enterprises (EPE) and his estate. Published as a lead hardcover by Simon & Schuster in July
2004, it has been featured in GQ, People, In Style, Vanity Fair's "Hot Type", the cover of
Vogue magazine, the Sunday New York Times "Styles" section, and the Larry King Show, as well
as countless radio and television interviews across the country.
Prior to this, her second book was Jackie Style (HarperCollins, May 2001), about Jacqueline
Kennedy Onassis. Written with the consent of Caroline Kennedy, and featuring an Introduction
by Valentino, the book features interviews with Onassis' friends, family and fans, including
Hubert de Givenchy, Yusha Auchincloss, Oleg Cassini, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Joan Kennedy, Manolo
Blahnik, as well as featuring over 100 rare photographs and never before published, handwritten
letters of Jacqueline Onassis.
Timed to coincide with the Metropolitan Museum's exhibit of Mrs. Kennedy's White House clothing,
Pamela discussed Jacqueline Onassis' continuing appeal on the Today Show, Larry King Live and
many other television shows. Jackie Style was featured in numerous magazines and newspapers,
among them In Style, The New York Times, Town & Country, People magazine, Vogue, and Cosmopolitan.
Jackie Style also made the New York Times' bestseller list.
Her first book was the internationally best selling style book about Audrey Hepburn, Audrey
Style (HarperCollins, May 1999). Ms. Keogh, again, did extensive research for the book,
interviewing many of Hepburn's friends and family, including Hubert de Givenchy, Gregory
Peck, Ralph Lauren, Nancy Reagan, Audrey Wilder, Vera Wang, Carrie Donovan and others, as
well as gathering many rarely seen photos.
Audrey Style was featured in dozens of national publications such as The New York Times,
People (starred review), Entertainment Weekly (Book of the Week), Town & Country, Cosmopolitan,
In Style magazine and Vanity Fair, as well as hundreds of newspaper articles across the country.
Audrey Style was on the bestseller lists of The New York Times, Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble bookstores.
The book was also featured (along with Hepburn inspired fashions) in all three windows on the
57th Street side of Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.
Ms. Keogh again made extensive television, radio and speaking engagement appearances on
behalf of the book, discussing Audrey Hepburn, women today and her opinion of the current
fashion scene, on programs such as Headliners and Legends with Matt Lauer (MSNBC),
Entertainment Tonight, Dateline NBC, Extra, the Don Imus Show, and local radio and
television news programs in New York, Los Angeles, Richmond, Minneapolis and San Francisco.
Prior to becoming an author, Ms. Keogh was a journalist and has been published widely in
Town & Country, British Vogue, Self Magazine, and the New York Times "Styles" section.
She began her career working as the first receptionist for Spy magazine.
Ms. Keogh is a graduate of Vassar College, where she studied English and History.
She also attended Wellesley College during her junior year, where she read french
in translation and did very badly in macroeconomics.

him as a child) and reading. He would love to live in Spain. "Roots Of

Elvis: Precious Memories
The Presley Family and Friends Cookbook.
Donna Presley Early is the daughter of Elvis Presley's aunt "Nash". Nash, the
younger sister of Elvis's father Vernon, cared for the young Elvis when he was
growing up and was his friend and advisor until his death. In 1967 Donna and
her family moved to the Circle G Ranch that Elvis had purchased. They remained
there until Elvis sold the ranch in 1970. At which time Donna moved to Graceland
with her family after her father, Earl Pritchett accepted an offer of employment
from Elvis. She spent her teenage years on the estate with her dear cousin and
their grandmother Minnie Presley.
As a labor of love for her deceased mother, Donna authored a book
"Elvis - Precious Memories." Donna fulfilled her mother's dream to
publish a book that told the story about Elvis...about the MAN that
the family knew and loved!
On January 3, 1979 Donna began working at Graceland when Elvis' father, her
Uncle Vernon offered her a job answering fan mail. In 1985 she accepted a
modeling position with Carvel Modeling in Memphis.
She and her husband, Buddy, a retired law enforcement officer and private
investigator, lived in Arkansas where they raised their two sons, Stacy and
Jamie. In 2001 she and Buddy returned to Memphis where they now reside.
Donna has appeared at many events in the United States, Canada and Europe.
She continues to receive recognition through continual invitations to appear
on television as well as speaking engagements throughout North America and Europe.
