This is the third and final volume in this acclaimed series of books covering the
Golden Age of Rock 'n Roll in a day-by-day format. Twist & Shout begins on
January 1, 1960 -- the year of "The Twist" -- and winds up December 31, 1963,
just before the Beatles land in the USA. Aside from the day-by-day items,
there is a feature length performer's biography (with photo) at the end of
each month, 250+ sidebar biographies in the daily sections, monthly Top 50
record charts, and a complete artists' index.
